Now, If you think I go on about Mucus, you should meet Dean. He is a vibrant example of strength, beauty and health. And he'll tell you for sure, that Mucus is the true Satan within our bodies.

Anyhow.. This is from the time when I lived up at Mary Farms, (see also Manifesting Garden Implement) in the middle of a tropical fruit tree orchard.

Mary Farms was owned by Arji at the time, and this was it's hay day.. Dean had his camp on the other side of Windmill Creak, together with his rather excentric wife Julie (bless her), not too far from Swami Prem Das and his ever ready sugar cane juicing machine.

I remember one day, sitting under some paper bark trees by the river with Dean, when he confided in me that he wanted to be completely non attached.. that he'd be happy to not have anything at all.. Even his skin he said, to emphasize his conviction to this idea.

I told him he should be careful for what he asks, as the Divine will provide (see also Manifesting Shelter).

About a week later, I got news that Dean had been rushed to hospital with severe burns.

Apparantly he had been working on a car, and had had some accident with burning oil.. I thought immediatly of his words to me a week earlier.

Days later, he was back wandering through the bush.

His recovery was miraculous. Fasting, frugal eating, and some Aloe Vera soon put him right. - Within a month, his burn scar (much of the right side of his torso), had wittled down to a small patch to the right of his stomach.

Such is the healing power of the body when given the chance and no snot to contend with too. But do be careful what you ask for!
